Founded in 1845, with older buildings and longer history, was the central place where I spent a lot many years of my life - going to school! Being an old Martinian I suddenly have a lot of history behind me, but trust me its just the excitment and growing up days of life that matter when you are there so more to come by when I get older......!

Graduated December 2002 after a few long eventful years! Getting suffocated by the assignments and projects so cant really tell you much more, though there are excellent teaching facilites and infrastructure!

Uni Life: work work work

A great place and I've had the most exciting days here being a U21 Exchange Student! Leaving aside the fact that I was a exchange student doesn't bring down the fun and lively activities! I arrived here in the middle of September (Autumn 2001), fresh from a brilliant tour of Scotland, into an exciting week organised by the International Students Bureau.

A new university meant different things and I had no idea how the other students would be like, how the faculty and staff would be like, how the Halls of residence were like, how the city was..... but its turned out great! My faculty was on the nearby Jubilee Campus - a long walk from the main campus so relied on a (ir)regular shuttle service and I've learnt to queue up as you MUST for anything and everything in the UK!!
Uni Life - studies if you like are great with no killing assignments and closed book exams(!) but studies are a non-issue.
City - 5 star! Plenty of kebab and food delivery places in Beeston. Toooooo many nite clubs to choose from and you musn't miss Isis on wednesdays and The Works on thursdays, and ofcourse our very own Ark on campus!
Hall - I was at the Ancaster Hall - cheers to everyone there for a memorable stay! While there a campus 14 is worth a memory!
Misc - Portland Building (PB) Ballroom - Latin Dancing, The Arc, National Ice Arena - Ice skating, Showcase Cinema/Bowling/Arcade, Broadmarsh. Well didnt get a chance to goto the forests where Robin Hood lived!
